Protan VB250 Vapour Control Layer
Protan VB 250 Vapour Control Layer is a high performance polyethylene sheet designed to reduce the risk of interstitial condensation within a warm roof construction. It restricts the passage of warm moist air within the building permeating into the insulation zone.
Protan Separation/Protection Layers
A separation barrier between the Protan roofing membrane and the underlying deck is sometimes necessary to protect the Protan roofing materials from chemical and/or mechanical influences. This layer must be functional under all conditions that the roofing material might encounter during its entire lifetime.
Protan AM
Protan AM membrane is manufactured from pliable PVC reinforced with woven polyester. The PVC contains a stabiliser which makes the product resistant to both high and low temperatures, and provides conditional resistance to UV radiation for a period of up to 10 years.
Protan Sealant
Protan Sealant is a single part low modulus neutral curing silicone rubber sealant. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a resilient highly elastic seal which maintains flexibility over a wide range of temperatures. Unlike many silicone sealants Protan silicone sealant has a low odour when curing. Protan sealant is extremely resistant to weathering, ageing and water. It is supplied in ready to use cartridges suitable for application by means of a hand gun.
