Protected Roof Systems

A protected membrane is used as either a green or ballasted system on a warm, inverted or cold roof. To optimise the design possibilities, Protan protected membrane roofing system can be combined with Protan exposed membrane roofing systems on the same building. The advantages of a protected roof include:

      • Increase the usable space of the building
      • Protects the building against the effects of rapid temperature changes
      • Improved Fire Protection
      • Improves the building's thermal and acoustic performance
