Sedum blankets provide instant greening giving an instantly colourful and attractive green roof, although an alternative is to scatter sedum sprouts and cuttings over the substrate onsite providing a more economical solution that is equally as effective in the long term. The sedum blanket is placed on a minimum of 70mm of growing medium, which is the recommended depth for a healthy, self sustaining sedum roof.
Guarantee of Function
All extensive roofs installed will receive a 'guarantee of function' which ensures that the roof will perform as it should do from the outset. The cover will roll indefinitely as long as the maintenance and nurture requirements are adhered to. i.e. twice yearly for Extensive Roofs
Our partner horticulturist will also visit each site at least once in the first 12 months to undergo maintenance, re-seeding and cleaning of outlets.
