PROPLAN is centred around a unique software package developed by Protan to meet the requirements of current environmental and labour saving demands. PROPLAN enables the designer to see a 3D visualisation of the proposed roof. This visualisation is then transposed into a detailed specification, quotation and subsequent manufacturing and site assembly details. Benefits include substantial on-site installation and logistic savings and virtually zero waste.
In addition, Protan will be featuring two further sustainable roofing systems, including PROGREEN Turf Roofs and PROVAC Vacuum Roofs.
A working example of a bio diverse Turf Roof will feature on the stand as part of Protan’s PROGREEN roofing range. Protan has a long heritage of turf roofs through its Nordic origins and is keen to broaden this market in the UK where its benefits are not so widely known.
Also featured will be the science behind the PROVAC roofing system. PROVAC is a unique system that uses the forces of the wind for attachment and so eliminates the need for any adhesives and their associated environmental impacts. As a further benefit, all Protan systems can be designed using PROPLAN and are fully recyclable.
