Protan (UK) Ltd have secured the contract for the Handball Arena for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England located in the Olympic Park in Stratford, East London.

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) annual Roofing Awards are designed to recognise and reward outstanding roofing projects in all major roofing disciplines.  Kavanagh Roofing’s installation of Protan SE 1.2 copper green Standard Overlap roofing membrane system incorporating Protan Omega Profiles at Bournemouth School for Girls has earned them a finalist place at this year’s NFRC Roofing Awards.
Protan is pleased to officially launch its PROPLAN optimal roofing design service at Ecobuild 2010.  Live demonstrations will be featured on Protan’s stand, 2044, from Tuesday 2nd March to Thursday 4th March.
Protan (UK) Ltd recently launched it’s ‘NEW’ Turf Roof system for the UK.  Far removed from the normal extensive sedum systems traditionally found in the UK, this system has been used in Scandinavia for centuries and has been installed by Protan for over 30 years.
The Birmingham NEC has completed the first of many stages focusing on the redevelopment of the existing arena, transforming the UK’s number one exhibition venue.  The work sees an extension of the existing building to form a new landmark main entrance hall which leads into the arena. 
Protan (UK) Ltd continues to develop its strong relationship with architects by providing two diverse CPD presentations, Single Ply: Roofing Membranes ... On the Crest of a Wave and Green Roof: Bio-diverse green systems for flat and pitched roofs.

Protan (UK) Ltd continue to deliver first-class service to its customers with the release of their NEW Exposed Membrane Brochure detailing the wide range of quality roofing solutions they provide. 

Longer than I care to remember, I came to the construction industry from the automotive sector. Indeed on reflection I was involved in a ‘green’ activity remanufacturing electrical and fuel injection equipment using reprocessed used materials mixed with new components.
