BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – CENTRAL/MIDLANDS REGION
Protan UK Ltd has an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our UK Sales Team.
The successful candidate must demonstrate core sales competencies and have a proven track record in specification sales ideally within the roofing industry. He/She will be responsible for providing technical sales support at a regional level to Roofing Contractors, Architects, Surveyors, and Building Owners etc. He/She will be targeted against pre-determined sales objectives. Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills are essential. The position reports to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities include:
· Maintaining the growing reputation of Protan UK Ltd within the roofing industry
· Sales of all Protan roofing systems to meet agreed budgets
· Identification and follow-up of new sales opportunities
· Product Specification through Architects, Surveyors, Contractors and Building Owners
· Roof surveys
· Area management including working with Protan Partner Roofing Contractors
· Communication with all relevant colleagues on a day to day basis
· Providing sales activity reports on a weekly & monthly basis
· Tracking Projects
· CPD Seminars
· NBS Specification Writing
The candidate must:
· Demonstrate a proven track record in their previous selling roles
· Have experience of selling into the specification market and dealing with customers/clients at all levels
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Outstanding presentation abilities
· IT proficient
· Valid UK driving license
