A sharp-looking roof for a sharp-loooking home

This new build project in Devon used Protan SE with Protan Omega profiles to create this sharp contemporary look.

The inclusion of the Protan Omega profiles gave the standing seam effect the architect and local planers required.

The significant savings this system gave the home owner, meant the high end quality of this project could be achieved within budget and without compromise.

The roofing works by our partner contractor John Tydeman involved the installation of VCL, insulation and weather proofing using Protan SE 1.6mm membrane and detailing with Protan Omega profile.

Using this system the home owner enjoys the confidence of the Protan 20 year warranty.

A green roof annex in the garden

This new build project in Chepstow was built to create this contemporary self-contained one bedroom annex above a car garage.

Built in the home owner's garden, it provides an income from holiday lets and extra space for when the family visits.

The inclusion of the extensive green roof provided the perfect finish, giving it excellent acoustic/thermal insulation and BREEAM points required for planning permission.

The roofing works by our partner contractor Modern Flat Roofing involved the installation of rooflights, VCL, insulation and construction of a hidden gutter and weather proofing using Protan G 1.8mm prefabricated membrane.

Using this system the home owner enjoys the confidence of the Protan 20 year warranty.

The inclusion of the extensive green roof provided the perfect finish giving it excellent acoustic/thermal insulation and BREEAM points required for planning permission.

Combining the new with the old

The conversion of an existing conservatory and flat roof extension with new roof lights to give additional natural light into the newly refurbished open plan area below.

The roofing work on this Brentwood, Essex home by our Domestic Partner Contractor High Tech Roofing Ltd involved removing existing polycarbonate sheets and felt covering, installing new structural timber decking, joists & fascia’s, incorporating new lantern roof lights and increased insulation to current standards (Part L) in a warm roof construction.

This was overlaid with Protan SE 1.2 Light Grey, using our popular Standard Overlap membrane system to provide the long-term durable high-performance waterproofing system.
